Drew Faber has been taking pictures since he was in grade school. But you can't really count Polaroid snapshots of his Father's record setting fish as art.

Drew was born in Phoenix, Arizona and went to grade school, high school, and college all in Arizona. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Arizona State University in 1977.

Drew first began to take photography seriously when a co-worker loaned him  a Canon AE-1 35mm SLR camera for a trip to France .

Continuing taking pictures at every opportunity, he honed his skills by practicing, and reading photography books and magazines. "Self-study gave me the freedom to concentrate on the areas I was most interested in."

"Today I have the luxury of working with two of my favorite things: the computer and photography. With digital photography I am able to marry two of my favorite interests."
